Chief Officer: Deborah Smith, our recently appointed CO, is a committed Christian with experience in Christian youth work as part of her local church as well as a background in Education across Primary and Higher Education sectors.
 
 
Operations Manager: Pam Jones. Pastoral Leader and part-time Administrator at her church in Lancaster.
 
 
NISCU Administrator: Rosie Robinson. Working part-time for us in the Carnforth office.
 
 
NISCU was started by the North West Evangelistic Trust in 1981 to develop the schools work ut had begun in Carnforth, North Lancashire. In 2010 NWET was closed down and NISCU became a Charity and Public Limited Company in its own right. The charity began has 7 trustees who are also the directors of the NISCU company.
 
 
Trustee: William Towers. Audio Visual Engineer, a Trustee since 1968.
    
 

Trustee: Robert Gardner. Retired Head Teacher and retired Personnel Assistant with STL (Europe's major distributor of Christian literature and other media), a Trustee since 1990. "NISCU serves schools, provides a vital Christian challenge for young people and provides links for them with the local church."

 
 
Trustee: Mark Thomas. Director of Capernwray Hall, a Trustee since 1983. "I believe NISCU plays a crucial role in the schools of the North West as a Christian organization assisting in the education of our young people. NISCU staff present a relevant and practical approach to the Bible and Christian life. It enables young people to consider their own convictions about God and life and face up to the moral issues of today."
 
 

Trustee: Ruth Houston. Deputy headteacher of a secondary school, a Trustee since 2011. "I have been involved in NISCU since I used to attend camp myself, my own children now benefit from the work of NISCU. As a secondary teacher I have seen firsthand lives that have changed when young people learn of the love of Jesus through the work of NISCU."

   

    
 

Trustee: Sandy Roy. Historic Buildings Architect, a trustee since 1996.
"Involved in NISCU since the mid 1980's as supporter, local chairman and now trustee, I have been thrilled to see at first hand dozens of young people come to trust in the Lord Jesus, grow & mature in their faith, and go on to serve the Lord in many spheres of life."
 
 
 
Trustee: Dave Grime. Quantity Surveyor, a Trustee since 2006. "For over twenty years NISCU has endeavoured to explain the unique Gospel of Jesus Christ to young people throughout the area. It is a privilege to be part of this and imperative that it continue"
 
 
Trustee: Beth Roy. Retired Teacher, a Trustee since 2007. "I am privileged to be involved with this work, which has had such a positive impact on the lives of so many young people."
 
 
Trustee: Alastair Richards. An Accountant who has worked for many years as a senior manager within the charity sector, a Trustee since 2011. "NISCU is a unique organisation carrying out the special work of bringing the gospel to young people in North Lancashire, Craven and Cumbria. It is a privilege to be involved and support the excellent work the organisation does."
